Wellness Resolutions To Keep For The New Year

New Year’s wellness resolutions can be a joyous and scary thing. We can be so afraid to fail at something but we desperately want to change. Eating better and working out are just a few of the ways we seek to become healthier. We may find small joys in daydreaming about our best selves but this year let’s make the change and really stick with it!

Here are quick wellness tips to help you stay on track this year.

  • Create A Great Music Playlist
    • According to John Hopkins Medicine, music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure and pain as well as improve sleep quality, mood, mental alertness and memory. At the WellC office we like to keep the music playing to help inspire the team.
  • Wake up Early
    •  We love to get the last 10 minutes of sleep. Challenge yourself to attack your day INSTEAD of letting the day get away.  Sleeping in can feel great but it can be a set back to accomplishing your goals in the new year.
  • Let Go Of  The Sugar
    • You may have a sweet tooth but don’t let it get the best of you. Letting go of the sugar can mean less cavities, more energy and slimmer waist lines.
  • Have Fun!
    • The days are long but the years are short! Most of us have seen firsthand the effects food and stress can have on our bodies. Find the joy in each day and remember to have fun!
